Would you like to live here?
Rooms in various houses open up throughout the year. Every so often, an entire house opens up for rent. Buying a house here is difficult; more information about buying a house is available here.
If you're interested in renting a room or a whole house, please use the space below to write us a brief letter introducing yourself. This letter will be sent it out to the N Street cohousing internal mailing list. Any current residents with rooms open in their houses, or landlords with entire houses for rent, will see your email via the mailing list, and contact you directly if they have a spot into which you might fit.
If you'd like, we can also add your letter of introduction to a list of recent applicants that residents can look through if they have an opening later. This list is held on a password-protected page within our website that only current residents of N Street can access. Your info will automatically expire from it a year after it is posted.
There is also a shared applicant list used by some Davis cooperatives and intentional communities that make up the Davis Cooperative Community Network. If you'd like to add your info to it, you can do so here: http://bit.ly/fFLbDI
Keep in mind that N Street has expectations and responsibilities that are beyond typical neighborhoods. The following outlines the basic responsibilities of members and households:

Each household is expected to:

There is a monthly membership fee of $25 per adult and $2.50–$5.00 per child to fund the community’s expenses.
